Amanda Budnik

Graduate Intern Therapist

All PHC clinicians are highly trained and able to treat our clients that are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions and/or mood disorders. Please continue to explore our bios if you require a more specialized treatment plan.

Amanda works with all clients but is especially drawn to adults and couples navigating communication and connection issues. She's also comfortable discussing finances and welcomes those curious about their financial behaviors, stressors, and patterns.  She also has an affinity for women who are struggling with perfection, shame, anxiety, depression, and chronic stress.

Amanda's top priority is to help her clients feel seen, heard, and understood and offers grace for being human.  Her warm and empathetic approach helps clients connect with themselves on a deeper level so they can learn to navigate and cope with life's challenges on their own.  Amanda uses a psychodynamic approach to help clients challenge inner beliefs about shame and self-worth by exploring how early experiences shape current behaviors.   She is committed to helping her clients develop a stronger sense of self and live their life with intentionality.

Outside the therapy office, Amanda enjoys baking, cooking, and planning trips with friends.  For her, the perfect day is that first crisp fall day where the windows finally open up and the cool breeze hits her face while the smell of freshly baked pumpkin bread wafts throughout the house.
