Sandra is committed to working with individuals who are experiencing relational challenges,coping with grief and loss, or dealing with anxiety and depression. She specializes in exploring relational trauma and helping clients understand the impact on present day life and relationships.
Sandra’s approach is warm and collaborative. She believes that you are the expert on your story and that your strengths and goals will be essential guides in the healing process. She utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of each client with particular attention to mindfulness, attachment patterns, and a trauma-informed lens.
Sandra is currently working to complete her master’s in clinical mental health at Northeastern Illinois University. She has her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wheaton College and an Ed.M. in human development from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In her free time,Sandra enjoys finding spots near home and far from the city to hike with her kids, husband, and rescue dog, Vince.
